Will Vidya Balan step into Sridevi's shoes?

Actress Sridevi’s Sadma (1983) is considered one of her finest performances. Directed by Balu Mahendra, this film had Sridevi and Kamal Hassan in the lead roles. The film is the story of Nehalata (Sridevi), a young woman who regresses to childhood after suffering a head injury in a car crash. As a remake of the film is on the cards, ad film-maker Lloyd Baptista, who is making the film, is on the lookout for leading actors.
