In an interview with a leading daily, Ranveer Singh spoke about his take on former lovers working together in films and also about his changed persona in front of the media.
When Ranveer was asked about his opinion on former lovers working together, the actor gave a rather clear cut reply and stated that one must recognize such work pairings for what they are - a professional working relationship.
He said, "I think you have to recognize it for what it is - a professional working relationship and there's no more to it."
Ranveer, who has never publicly acknowledged his relationship with Deepika Padukone, was earlier linked to Anushka Sharma as well and has worked with her post their supposed break up in a couple of films, the last being 'Dil Dhadakne Do' while Deepika too has appeared in a few films with ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor.
Ranveer also spoke about how he has become a changed man in front of the media, a far cry from his usual persona. The actor stated that he has realized where to draw the line between his public persona and his private life. He said,
"I have understood something about myself — which is where to draw the line between being a public figure and protecting my personal space. It took time but I have learnt that if there are certain things I don’t want to share, I don’t have to. But I am still a very open person who will perhaps end up speaking about 90 per cent of the stuff. I am not someone who can be easily offended. The only thing that annoys me is when something gets printed without me verifying it and that happens too often. I don’t know much about how the media should functions, but it’s common sense to fact check before printing. At least give me the option to tell you my side of the story."
On the professional front, Ranveer will soon be seen alongside Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' which releases on 18th December 2015.
