Industry insiders and fans were in for a shock when news of singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan suffering a heart attack surfaced on the net. Messages and prayers from people all over the world started pouring in when all learnt that Mahadevan was admitted in a Delhi hospital.
While there were reports that suggested different ailments, there was no clarity on what exactly did Mahadevan go through.
However, now Shankar's partner and musician Ehsaan Noorani has clarified the same. He posted on his Facebook page, "#ShankarMahadevan has not suffered a heart attack like the news says but he did have a procedure to prevent the onset of an attack and is now completely safe and recuperating ........"
Shankar himself also got on to twitter and shared a message for his fans and well-wishers. He thanked all for their prayers and also said that he is recovering well.
We too wish the talented singer a speedy recovery!
