Like most of this generation, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone idolize Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol and their sizzling onscreen chemistry. Ranbir at the launch of Tamasha chemistry meter told the media how the DDLJ duo has impacted an entire generation and even the next. "We are two people who have grown up on Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Once we were asked which is that one film we want to be a part of, the we unanimously said DDLJ. After watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, I bought his polo T-shirt and cool pendant. Deepika bought Kajol's hairband. And we are surely waiting for Dilwale. Their chemistry is beyond palangtod."
Coincidence is that today SRK and Kajol will be launching the first song of Dilwale at the iconic Maratha Mandir where DDLJ is still successfully running. Ranbir added, "SRK sir has made a few of my friends hear the song and they love it. Like most of our generation we are awaiting it. Please pass our love to SRK sir and Kajol Ma'am and our best wishes to Dilwale"
