Fitoor, starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif has been embroiled in controversies since its inception. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film is again in the news, and not for the right reasons. According to a report in a leading daily, Abhishek is not entirely happy with the way things are going! As quoted by a source from the sets, “Abhishek is disappointed with the way the film is shaping up. He is so infuriated that he has called for a re-shoot of a lovemaking scene between the film’s lead pair Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif, which he believed wasn’t ‘up to the mark’.” The passionate love-making scene is just one of the scenes that will be redone, as per the report.
Fitoor has already been delayed by months after Rekha decided to walk out of the project midway after shooting a few scenes. Tabu was then brought in and Abhishek resumed shooting. All seemed to be fine until the director saw the film’s first rushes. “Abhishek didn’t like what he saw in the edit and has now decided to take out more time to do-over a few scenes which is normal. Most directors will reshoot if they are not satisfied with the rushes. Aditya and Katrina had shot for the scene, but it didn’t turn out well. The team with its lead cast re-shot the entire scene at a suburban studio on Monday,” as the newspaper quoted.
But all this has left Katrina miffed! The report stated, “Katrina is angry with the director and strongly disagreed on the point of re-shooting the entire sequence. In fact, till the last moment, the crew had no clue if the shoot was happening at all. Eventually, the producers calmed Kat down and got her to agree to the scene again. But not before she threw a major fit. Intimate scenes are not easy to do. And then to reshoot them is a bigger pain.”
Looks like Abhishek has some more tough time to deal with…
