Indian Gymnast Dipa Karmakar’s undying spirit has certainly inspired a lot more to walk on her set path. While Dipa couldn’t win the medal, the 23-year-old still created history by becoming the first Indian gymnast to make it to the finals, after finishing eighth in the qualifiers for the vault.

And though Dipa couldn’t outperform her competitors in the finals, her zeal has won over millions of hearts all over the world.
