It seems that getting a smooth release for any big budgeted Bollywood movie is a tough row to hoe! With Bajirao Mastani being stick amidst controversies, Rohit Shetty's Dilwale too seems to be tasting the bitterness of a controversial platter.
Recently, the Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena appealed to boycott SRK's Dilwale on the charges of Khan having ignored the plight of farmers reeling under severe drought in the state and not having contributed anything neither financially nor practically.
According to reports, at Dilwale's music celebration recently, the actor was asked about his take on the boycott appeal. Shah Rukh Khan, known for his diplomatic and non-controversial replies, without directly commenting on the MNS appeal to boycott Dilwale, said that the team just wants positive things to happen to the film. He said, "Before the film's release it's better if you ask me questions about the film, because we have been so caught up with work, we don't understand other things. But God willing, everything good will happen with our film."
Dilwale is all set to release on 18th December and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead.
