Vir Das to play a serious role in Shivaay

Actor-comedian Vir Das,who has never failed to tickle our funny bone, now looks like is set to break a few tough bones in his upcoming flick, Shivaay.

According to a report in TOI, Vir has been roped in to play the parallel lead, a very crucial role in the movie. Portraying something very contrary to his image of making people laugh, he will be seen in a very different role in Ajay Devgn's second directorial venture. And to do justice to his character, Vir will be undergoing physical training for his action scenes.

Last seen in 2014 released Revolver Rani opposite Kangana Ranaut, the actor had been also praised for his role in Go Goa Gone starring Saif Ali Khan,Kunal Kemmu and Anand Tiwari in 2013.
