The story of Neerja Bhanot whose fierce, sole battle with the terrorists saved the lives of hundreds, is now all set to be brought onto the silver screen as a token of tribute. And the first trailer of the movie is sure enough to keep you glued to it.
Sonam Kapoor at her best, portrays the role of flight attendant Neerja, while Shabana Azmi essays the role of her on screen mother and has beautifully emoted her part. The transition in the trailer from Neerja's happy and cheery life to the death-facing incident has been very well displayed. Director Ram Madhvani seems to have left no stone unturned in making the movie look so realistic!
Revolving around a terrifying incident, when the Pan Am Flight 73 was hijacked on the tarmac of Karachi airport by four armed terrorists. It was Flight attendant Neerja Bhanot (23) who stood straight facing the life-risking situation to safeguard her passengers.
The movie that releases on Feb 19, next year, is being produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged. It shall also mark the debut of music composer cum singer, Shekhar Ravjiani from the Vishal-Shekhar duo.
