
Talking to a leading news agency, Rishi Kapoor revealed that he was offered the chairmanship of Central Board of Film Certification by the government. He stated that he declined the same as he felt it was a "thankless" job nor did he have the patience to watch so many films.
Rishi said, “It’s true (that I was offered the job). I think it’s a thankless job, and I don’t have the patience to watch so many films."
When Rishi was asked about his opinion on the current rules and regulations of the CBFC for clearing films, he declined to comment.
Rishi is currently busy filming for Shakun Batra's Kapoor and Sons.
