"We did it so we didn't lose our jobs:" Amitabh Bachchan reminisces of his stunt days!

Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha graced the new TV show Yaaron Ki Baarat recently where the two veteran stars recollected the olden days. Reminiscing shooting in their heydays with limited technology, Shatrughan and Amitabh shared that the actors would do their own stunts. They have, apparently, jumped off cliffs and buildings, done cartwheels and tumbles to pull off their own action sequences. There was no concept of stunt men and body doubles in those days and the actors were supposed to fight the villains and goons on their own.
