Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest film, Bajirao Mastani, is getting nothing but accolades, and it’s all thanks to the leading stars: Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra. The film depicts the love triangle between Bajirao and his first wife, Mastani, who is played by Deepika and his second wife, Kashi Bai, who is played by Priyanka. The romantic drama goes onto narrate the intense love story between Bajirao and his two lovers, Mastani and Kashi Bai.
In real life, Ranveer is said to be dating his Mastani - Deepika Padukone, however, the two have never disclosed any details on their relationship. Although they have not admitted anything, the impeccable couple are said to be going strong. Recently, in an interview to a leading daily, Ranveer spoke about his love life, and his thoughts on love triangles. The actor stated: “I have tremendous clarity about my life choices... I don't see the triangle situation happening in my life. I don't see it arising in life. I still stand by that I am a really amazing boyfriend.” Although Ranveer feels this way, there was bit of confusion caused when Deepika was promoting her recent released film Tamasha with ex-lover, Ranbir Kapoor.
When promoting their film, Deepika had mentioned that “she still loves Ranbir on some level” and went on to say “I don't think that every feeling has to be broken down as I don't believe that emotions are unidimensional anyway. Feelings and emotions are very layered. While that was Deepika’s stance, her Tamasha costar Ranbir had said, The amount of love I have for Deepika is like family…” making it clear that things could never go back to the way they were seven years ago.
Well, all said and done, it seems like Ranveer is sure there is no love triangle happening here, and that he is the only Bajirao for his Mastani.
