Priyanka Chopra, who is currently trying to find a balance between her Bollywood and Hollywood career in showbiz, and has taken American television by storm with the thriller series Quantico, doesn’t find much difference in the work culture between the East and the West. “There too they work for 36 hours, there is no difference, just that they speak in English and over here in Hindi,” said Priyanka at the trailer launch of her upcoming film, Gangaajal, which is directed by Prakash Jha. When asked about how she would balance it out, she replied, “Without sleeping, without eating, travelling up and down while juggling between locations like how I did now, shot for Gangaajal,then went for Quantico, came back to shoot for Bajirao Mastani went back for Quantico....”
She further said, “I have always said that first and foremost I am an Indian actor, these are my roots and till the time the audience over here likes to see me on the big screen, I will continue doing Hindi movies. After that I am an international actress and it’s not just concerning Hollywood. I am open to the idea of going to UK or Spain...wherever my work takes me I will go there and work. So you can call me a global actor.”
