In 2011, Bollywood watchers everywhere were introduced to one of the first Indian superheroes through King Khan’s role in Ra.One. Now, Bollywood’s Badshah wants to recreate the excitement for all his fans in a sequel he’s calling G.One.
SRK has played countless roles throughout his career, and we must say that his performance in Ra.One was incredible. Although we thought there were only positive things to say about the film, the superstar felt some negativity throughout his Ra.One experience. He states: “Business wise the film wasn't bad. We did huge numbers. I think we had the biggest weekend then. The release was also fantastic. But I was a little taken aback by the negativity.” SRK felt that not his fans, but rather people from the industry were trying to “bring down” the super hit film.
However, although SRK felt the negativity, we know that nothing can keep the King of Bollywood down. When speaking about failure, SRK mentioned: "When you try new things, you have to be prepared for failure. I believe it is better to fail trying something new than succeed doing run-of-the-mill. But in business, you need to ensure that you have a bankable commercial film, which we did in the case of Ra.One. "I will 100 per cent make the sequel. There are no two ways about it. By nature I am not someone to give up on a dream.”
SRK is definitely excited and ready to make the sequel and so are we! After coming off his success from Dilwale, Shah Rukh Khan is finishing up work on his upcoming film Fan, which we are also looking forward to watch!
