Vidya to play a Brothel Madam for Mahesh Bhatt's Next!

For Mahesh Bhatt’s next project — Srijit Mukherji's Bengali film Rajkahini — Vidya Balan has been signed in to play the lead character of a brothel madam. Bhatt, who will be adapting the Bengali movie in Hindi for its Bollywood remake, said that this will be Vidya’s most challenging role of her career. In the movie, titled as Begum Jaan, Vidya will be seen playing the character of a spirited and strong woman, which was essayed by Rituparna Sengupta in the original film.
