Today is a great day for Farah Khan as her script for the film she will be directing for producer and her good pal, Shah Rukh Khan has got complete and is ready to be mulled over. Over two months back, Farah had revealed that she was working towards her next film, a love story which Shah Rukh will be producing. “It’s a younger love story, which Shah Rukh is very excited about and he really wants me make it. It is not a small budget film as being reported. As compared to Happy New Year it maybe smaller, but it is a big film, too,” she was earlier quoted saying.
There have been speculations about the cast, with rumours floating in the industry that Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra will be playing the main protagonists in the film which is supposed to be about girl power. Farah, said, “Yes, our film is a two girl subject. It is not just a love story, it's more than that, it’s a kick-ass theme. We are highlighting several women-related issues. Today the script has got ready, we still have to read it, start working on it and make it. Shah Rukh and I will read it together. Right now he is busy with the release of Dilwale and I don’t want to hound him. Let Dilwale release and once Shah Rukh is free, we will sit together and discuss every aspect of it.” Farah further added, "There have been lot of speculations about the film's casting, and it's lovely to know that people are really interested in talking about our film, but no, we haven't fixed upon it yet. We will soon search for suitable actors."
