Fans have been going gaga ever since Ranveer Singh’s Maratha warrior look from Bajirao Mastani has been out, and the actor is still sporting the oh-so-manly ‘mooch!’ However not many are aware that our Bajirao had to stick on fake moustache during the beginning of the film’s shoot. In an interaction with a leading daily, Ranveer gave some candid details about his ‘mooch’ whose popularity among fans is growing with each passing day. “During the initial stages of the filming process I had to stick a fake moustache since I didn't have the time to grow a real one before we commenced filming. It was very difficult to shoot with the stick-on mooch. But the two-month delay caused by my shoulder injury gave me just enough time to grow out my real one, replete with the curled handlebars and the works," shared Ranveer.
Ranveer has recently been awarded the most stylish star among males in the Femina Style Awards 2015. On being asked what keeps him going with the look, the ever-so-enthusiastic actor quipped, "I have grown to become quite attached to my moustache. I curl it in the mornings and play with it all day. I feel it's a serious style statement; it gives a guy an edge & an attitude,” Ranveer added.
