Amitabh Bachchan has his hands full in 2016 and the megastar sounded extremely happy while giving a low down on the projects he has bagged this year.
Today (Sunday) he will leave for Kolkata for the shoot of Sujoy Ghosh produced and Ribhu Dasgupta-directed Te3n and he will be busy in its completion the whole of this month. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan. Soon after, Big B will start work on his Pikudirector, Shoojit Sircar’s production, a social thriller, which will be shot in Delhi between January and March-end. The script has been locked and it will be helmed by a new director, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, who has made the award-winning Bangla films Anuranan (2006) and Antaheen (2009).
“Immediately after that we will begin shooting Aankhen 2. Then there is one more project which I can’t talk about, and lastly Shoojit’s own direction at the end of this year. And perhaps some television assignment,” said Bachchan.
However, it looks like Big B doesn’t mind having some more work on his plate. When asked that after so many years, so many accomplishments is there any one desire he is looking forward to fulfil this year, to which he replied. “I hope I am still breathing in this year and I hope there are some movies for me to do. I hope there is some work.”
