His debut film, Hero may not have won the hearts of the audience, but Sooraj Pancholi certainly is a big hit among the youth. He was recently invited to inaugurate a college festival, where the upcoming actor grooved to the tunes of some peppy numbers while the enthusiastic students were seen rooting for him.
Sooraj was recently in news when he had rubbished the rumours of a huge spat between his actor-father Aditya and his mentor Salman Khan. As we all know that the actor’s debut film, opposite Athiya Shetty, which was directed by Nikhil Advani, did not fare well at the box-office and it was speculated that this caused a rift between his father and the super star. There were some talks of Aditya blaming Salman for the film's debacle.
However, according to a report in DNA, Sooraj has rubbished these rumours and has confirmed that neither has any such incident occurred nor do his parents disrespect or dislike Salman. “It’s all bull****,"he said. He further said, “Someone brought this to my notice three days ago and I have absolutely no clue where it came from. There is no truth to it. The respect and love that my parents have for Salman sir, they have it for no one else. He has made my life. He has been there for me, my family, and the relationship we share is very special.”
Sooraj continued, “My father and Salman sir don’t hang out every day, they aren’t back slapping buddies but the respect and love is way beyond all such rumours. They love him more than they love me. They are grateful to Salman sir for whatever he’s done for me.”
Sooraj also denied of Aditya interfering in his work and said that his father lets him take his own decisions.
